MAAIKE: 'Our house really feels sunnier!'

Maaike wanted the colors in her house to be just a little different from what we had chosen 15 years ago. She wanted contemporary colors, but still calm, neutral, and warm. I opted for a fresh, warm beige shade and a soft, charming brown tones, matching the white kitchen and the sand-colored sofa.

When you use color, it often becomes apparent how poorly lit your home is. This therefore requires due attention. Color and light also influence the atmosphere when decorating with art and accessories.

After Maaike's house was painted according to my color design, the house felt lighter to Maaike as well.
