Moodboards to establish the desired atmosphere
-
A layout plan for each room

Ideas and advice regarding the renovation: what makes sense to change and what may be better left as it is
After the presentation, the client receives all the information discussed in a document by email, providing a clear basis from which to move forward with the project.
Creative Sessions During the Renovation Process
Tailored creative sessions can be scheduled for individual stages of the renovation, covering areas such as the overall layout, kitchen materials, bathroom, flooring, colour palette, window treatments and lighting.
In this case, the client remains responsible for the execution, while I act as a creative consultant and sparring partner throughout the process.

More Information
Complimentary Initial Consultation
During our first meeting, either by telephone or on location, we discuss your wishes and ideas.
If we feel there is a good connection after this first meeting, we have the right foundation to create a beautiful interior design together.
Initial Meeting on Location
You have probably already thought about what you would like to share with me – and I will have plenty of questions for you too. By listening carefully, we explore your wishes and requirements together.
Which interior style appeals to you? Which aspects of your home would you like to change? Is your family situation changing in a way that means the different functions of your rooms need to be reconsidered?
The more input, the better!
First Concept
At this stage, I carefully consider how the spaces will be used, the natural walking routes through the home and clear sightlines. From this, the ideal layout begins to emerge.
I will present this during an interim meeting, where we can discuss the choices that have been made and make adjustments where necessary.
At this stage, we are not yet focusing on exact colours or products. The emphasis is on finding the right layout and ensuring that each space functions logically.
Moodboard & Atmosphere
I want to inspire you to take a creative approach to the process. I will also ask for your input about the atmospheres, styles and colours that appeal to you and make you feel at home.
Together, these ideas form a visual concept or moodboard. This becomes the foundation for the rest of the interior design and makes subsequent choices much easier.
It is an impression of the desired atmosphere rather than a presentation of specific products.
We then translate this atmosphere into actual materials, colours and interior designs.
Materials & Colour Advice
At this stage, we look at recommendations for ceilings, walls, floors and window treatments. These choices form an important foundation for the rest of the interior design.
Once these decisions have been made, the foundation of the interior design is in place and we can move on to the next stage.
Lighting Plan & Lighting Advice
Using a schematic lighting plan and sections from the 3D floor plan, I create a clear visual representation of the lighting concept.
I also recommend suitable light fixtures that complement the overall interior design.
Furniture Plan, Cabinetry & Kitchen Advice
At this stage, we develop the furniture plan. You receive recommendations for all relevant pieces of furniture, including upholstery and product specifications.
Bespoke Design
To make your interior truly individual and personal, I love creating unique bespoke designs.
The creative process of developing an interior into something mature, distinctive and personal is one of my greatest passions. Bespoke pieces allow me to add that individual element to your home.
I coordinate my designs with my trusted cabinetmaker. During the production and implementation stage, I also enjoy working with the trusted suppliers with whom I have built strong relationships over the years.
3D Design
A 3D design is the perfect addition when visualising an interior design and its recommendations. It greatly improves spatial understanding and gives you the feeling of actually walking through the space.
In my experience, clients find this enormously valuable. It gives you a clear understanding not only of the practical layout, but also of how colours and materials will work together.
It is also an excellent tool for newly built homes. It can feel strange having to make decisions about a space that you cannot yet physically experience. In that situation, a 3D design is the ideal solution.
Interim Meeting
We sit down together to discuss and fine-tune the choices and proposals made so far. I guide you through the 3D design and we discuss the different possibilities.
Afterwards, I continue developing the design and we move towards completion of the design phase.
Presentation & Final Design Consultation
With this complete and professionally developed plan in hand, you are fully prepared to move into the implementation phase.
Purchasing & Implementation
Naturally, I can also provide additional support during the implementation phase.
This might include obtaining a quotation from a trusted contractor, proposing furniture, products and materials for purchase, or arranging the production of bespoke cabinetry. I can also purchase products and materials for you at favourable professional rates.
In this way, the savings can quickly offset part of the cost of the interior design advice.
You can also benefit from my extensive network of trusted suppliers. I have worked closely with these professionals for many years, so we know each other well and work efficiently together.
If structural changes to the exterior or interior are required, I can also arrange technical drawings and permit applications for you.
Finally, the project can be completed with styling using plants, art and other decorative objects. I can take care of this for you, or provide you with a list so that you can arrange it yourself.

COLOR ADVICE
Colour Consultation Process
A colour has to feel right – as if it has always been there. To achieve this, I look carefully at the house, its residents and the way the light changes throughout the day. With historic properties, I also take the history of the building into consideration. Sometimes it takes a little exploration to find the perfect harmony between the people, the house and the light, but I always find it!
I like to meet you at your home, so I can experience the property and its surroundings for myself. I take photographs and then begin searching for the right colours – in my mind, in nature and in my paint lab.
I bring these colours back to your home, where we can look at the samples in the actual light and alongside the furniture, artwork and other elements already there. If a property is surrounded by trees, for example, colours can appear completely different. HR+++ glazing can give the light a slightly greenish tone, which needs to be taken into account. And if there is a lot of art on the walls, the colour should complement and enhance the artwork.
Once we have selected the samples, I apply test colours to the walls together with you. This allows us to see how each colour behaves under different lighting conditions and make any final adjustments if necessary. A colour can look different at every moment of the day and on every part of a wall. That is what makes working with colour so fascinating!
Once we have found the right colours, I can arrange high-quality professional paint, materials and the best painter for the job, ensuring the best possible result.

It is time for color!
Colour is an essential and simple, sustainable way to transform the atmosphere of your home. The versatility of colour requires expertise and a sense of style to use it in the right way.
I choose colours that retain their character throughout every season, including our grey winters, so that the sun always seems to shine inside your home. The colours I select are warm, stylish and authentic.
To determine which colours are right for you, I like to begin with a mini-study of who you are, what makes you happy and where you feel most at ease. I then consider the natural daylight in your home, the lighting and the surrounding environment. From this, I create an overall impression of the desired atmosphere, followed by a tailored colour proposal.
Colour Samples in Your Home
We apply colour samples in your living space because colour is greatly influenced by the light around it. The same colour can look different at every moment of the day and on every wall.
Much of the secret lies in how and where colour is applied. Creating a carefully considered colour concept helps avoid disappointing results. I create something distinctive and refined, but above all something that truly suits you.
The concept may take you slightly outside your comfort zone, but that is often where the best results are found.
