The “Windsor” champagne cooler is a refined design by the renowned designer Lino Sabbattini, created in 1957. This beautifully proportioned piece has an understated elegance, with clean lines and a classic silhouette that give it a distinctive retro character.

Dating from around 1960, this Windsor champagne cooler remains in excellent condition. Its preservation reflects both the quality of the craftsmanship and the care it has received over the years. The subtle signs of age only add to its character and historical appeal.

One of the most charming qualities of this cooler is its versatility, making it as decorative as it is functional.

This cooler was made by the renowned French silver house Christofle. Founded in 1830 by Charles Christofle, a visionary jeweller, Maison Christofle soon became a supplier to kings, emperors and tsars, building a reputation that extended far beyond France.

The cooler bears the Christofle stamp and the O.C. Christofle hallmark used from 1935 onwards.
