Pearl Dog Foo by Ecruis

A beautifully substantial champagne cooler, distinguished by refined details including a pearl-beaded rim and elegant ring handles set within dog mascarons.

With its reassuring weight and high-quality silver-plated finish, this cooler is a fine example of craftsmanship and quality. Dating from the first half of the 20th century, approximately 1930–1950, it carries a rich sense of history and has stood the test of time remarkably well.

The cooler has room for two bottles, making it both an impressive decorative object and a highly functional piece. It is no surprise that this model still forms part of the Ecruis collection, where it is priced at €1,650.

In excellent vintage condition, with minor signs of use and light scratches to the outer surface.

This cooler was made by the silver house Ecruis. The origins of Ecruis date back to 1867, when Adrien Céleste Pillon opened a silversmith’s workshop in the small village of Ecruis in the French department of Oise. His aim at the time was not to build an empire of fine silverware, but to strengthen his fellow citizens on a religious level while also securing the economic future of his birthplace.

Our products are vintage and therefore pre-owned, each with its own history and character.

You are always welcome to come and view the cooler in person in Zeist.
